Potty training the battle

I know from experance that potty training a puppy or even a adopted older dog can be a challange. My dogTrudy was the hard head and took forever to get her to know what I wanted. What I have found is that what works for some dogs doesn't others. Some dog are egar to please others are somewhat caught up in thier own little world and then there is the dogs that can't sit still thier attention span is usaully short lived.

For my harded dog what work for her was laying out pads in a room that I rescricted her to and every two hour I take her for a walk and praise her if she did her business. I she went on the pads I show it to her and in a firm voice say No, No, then I walk her to the door take her paw make her scratch the door and we go out for another walk. In a weeks time , I started to put down less pads. Did this until pads reached the door and I started notice she ask to go out then I knew she ask if she have to go and the 2 hour walk I didn't do as much.

This method like I said before dosen't work for everyone . My Sister tried it and her puppy just tore up the pads made a mess. If you want a site that offers a free lesson on training your dog I found this one just click here. No matter what method you try in training your dog. Remember patience is the key on your part in making whatever you want your dog to do happen. Just keep doing it over and over your dog get the idea
